Trusting God in 2026

We wrapped up 2025 with a girls’ camp and joyful Christmas celebrations, sharing God’s love with our community.
Over the holidays, we enjoyed visits from family, said goodbye to Emma, and began 2026 with prayer vigils and church ministry across our district.
This year also brings exciting changes as we’re starting to plan to relocate to Mansa as a family.
Grateful hearts, new season, and Christmas ahead

After returning to Zambia as a family of six, we’ve settled back into our home in Puta and jumped right back into daily life here in the village. Daryl is once again serving in the local churches, and Tabea has resumed homeschooling the kids.
As December approaches, several special events are on the horizon—we’re planning a camp for teenage girls and preparing for our annual Christmas Blessing project.
Seeking the welfare of the place we’ve been sent

“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”
Being sent or called to Zambia – especially rural Zambia has at times felt like being sent into exile. We’re sharing more about the rich season with meaningful work, moments of reflection, and steady investment in the community God has called us to.
Because He anointed Me to bring good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to proclaim release to captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed.”
